course 1 | Fundamentals of Mediation
This course develops skills for dealing with conflict and teaches a step-by-step model to develop solutions in conflict situations (based on the Harvard Negotiation Project Model).
Participants will:
Build critical communication skills to encourage participation and resolve conflict.
Develop techniques to resolve potentially explosive or volatile situations.
Practice skills to give and receive criticism.
Develop innovative solutions that work for all parties in a conflict.
The hands-on interactive 5 day presentation of the course encourages participants to apply concepts using typical scenarios.
